Bounce: Heterosexuality has been banned and the government controls popsicles.

Leap: Roads have been banned and the government controls gravity.

I'm sure she's still adding to it, so feel free to suggest titles and things which could be banned or controlled.

Ahahahahaha, I love it. And I am a birdwatcher, so I may have to try that one...I imagine people have to shut their eyes whenever a bird flies by, lest a cop see them. Although that seems potentially dangerous for driving ("Officer, I swear I wasn't watching that bird--I just caught an accidental glimpse of it as I tried not to drive into that telephone pole.").

I am not sure why the government is controlling llamas.

I made some up for a short time, but love of pie, if people are interested, we could get this thing off the ground.

Specifically, I'm looking for people who'd want to mod, participate, suggest rules, or ANY OF THE ABOVE. XD

Haha, I'm not sure! I was thinking, um, five? I'm leaning towards five just because they are SO AWESOME! Also, it's so random that I think having more options to pull from would be more fun.

There are just a couple of questions that have to be answered before we can start it:

1) Screened or unscreened comments to prompt posts? Screened would be easiest, unscreened would be more fun. If it's unscreened, would probably have to have a rule like 'Submissions will only be counted if they have the word SUBMISSION in the title'

Subs would be like the title from the prompt and then the original fiction you write? Subject to change as desired? I dunno, we could really have fun with this! :D

How long should these be? 100 words? No minimum word count?


2) Time frame for posting period? Would a week be too long to have the prompts open, or a good amount of time? Time frame for voting period, I'm thinking two days? Basically, should this run every two weeks or every week? SO CONFUSED.

3) Voting should probably not be visible. I'm thinking that after the prompt page closes (Aka comments disabelled), then a day or two later a giant post goes up with all the entries listed by number, and then you get a ticky box thing where you pick your top three entries and submit that?

4) Then two days later (when voting closes), the results are announced?

5) Then a little later, a new set of prompts are published?

6) IDEAS, MY BRAIN! HELP! XD

I can definitely see there being room for a DW one and LJ one, especially if one's a little different in the format than the other. Hm. I shall ruminate on this for a bit. The thing I am thinking of doing aka governmentcontrolledcats wouldn't start until early/mid-June, anyhow!

I checked out the LJ comm too, and I definitely think that there's enough difference so that the two won't overlap! Both seem like fun ideas, but both seem pretty different.
