You can see my makeup better in this one. I had originally intended to also do a metallic strip across my eyes, but the unbelievably bad service at the hotel restaurant delayed me, and I had to scale down. (An hour and fifteen minutes before our orders showed up, mostly the wrong ones. The burgers all had the wrong toppings. The waitresses avoided the tables, in a half-empty restaurant. I almost never stiff servers, but in this case I think she earned my eight cent tip.)

Zombie marionette (Faye Bi) and puppeteers. Straight outta Yuki Kaori! (Actually, I think it's from Laini Taylor's Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Laini Taylor and family. Her daughter Clementine is adorable beyond words.

Another Medusa. Look closely to spot the snakes.

Your cyborg makeup definitely looks creepier (in a good way) in these shots.

I would say that I had been in that hotel restaurant, except I've never been to Vail.

Love the photos! The octopus lady was probably my favorite costume there--so awesome.

I look forward to your posts! I assume the monster bag made it okay? How was the flight?

Monster bag was perfectly fine, and the flight was totally uneventful. I even got a glass of wine gratis for sitting in the cramped last row and not whining about it.

Will post soon! Probably tonight.

So cool!! That octopus lady is awesome. And what a great way of doing an e-reader case.

That is the most elegant octopus I've ever seen.
