I read Who Fears Death several years ago and enjoyed it (post-apocalyptic fantasy that isn't about stalwart dude-ly white dudes rebuilding civilization in their manly way), but there's a fairly graphic female circumcision/genital mutilation scene early on that some people might want to skip.
