Food is very indicative of culture, and attitudes toward it can be a great way of showing personality and experience. For instance, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking as art, science, and caretaking, and is happy to feed both his daughter and any strangers who might show up at his door; Mia takes his cooking for granted a lot of the time and feels free to say if she doesn't like something, knowing he won't take it personally or be annoyed; Ross is hugely impressed and delighted by the sheer existence and quantity and freshness of food, let alone that it actually tastes good, let alone that someone made it for him. (In Rebel Dr. Lee gets to feed another stranger, who has a totally different attitude than Ross.)

We could definitely get some Las Anclas recipes! Any specific ones you were thinking of?
