the truck-eating 11'8" bridge

Ooh, I didn't know about that, but we have one of those too! Melbourne came out of lockdown yesterday, and immediately on Twitter I saw two different tweets celebrating the Napier Street bridge in Footscray's having claimed another truck victim as a sign that "nature is healing". (It's 4 metres high, which is more than 11'8, but clearly still not high enough.)

Also on Twitter: Montague Street Bridge in Perth (3m, or 9'10) commiserates with its unlucky friend.
