Book Club Selection: Akata Witch, by Nnedi Okorafor
In March, we will be reading Nnedi Okorafor's Akata Witch
. I have really enjoyed everything I've read so far by Nnedi Okorafor. This looks likely to be in the same playful, inventive spirit of her other YA and children's novels.
My review will go up in the first week of April. I hope. It would be great if you could write a review on your own blog and link here, as well as commenting to mine.

Your wish...

I liked it, and I'll make another shot at having my seventh grader read it. The cover didn't impress him, and I only gave him a day to read it before the library wanted it back.
(I'll post this link again under your review, but I wanted to show you I was listening.)
Re: Your wish...
What did he dislike about the cover? Too young-looking?
Re: Your wish...
He's just attempted to make off with my NOOK, so I think I'll put the ebook version on there for him. He'll read it just for the excuse not to give me back my reader.
