Yes! It is a huge achievement. I have had a number of clients for whom immigration was a big issue, in all sorts of ways - seeking asylum, getting a green card, being permanently illegal because your parents brought you over when you were three, being brought over as a slave and escaping and finding refuge and a network of people helping escaped slaves. (Yes, that still happens. It's called "human trafficking." But it is literally slavery.)
