I know some people like it a lot, but it's tonally completely different from the rest of the series. It feels more like Bachmann doing a western, maybe. My favorite part of it was King's essay in the current edition where he talks about westerns and why he rewrote some bits and looking back at being nineteen now that he's been literally side-swiped by his own mortality.
