Something that especially cracked me up was the dogged professionalism of literally everyone involved in The Room, from the surprise!Method actor Chris-R to all three crews, all of whom were determined to do their jobs like they would on a normal movie, only to slowly crack under the strain of stock spoon photos, rousing chants of "Go USA!" and Tommy's refusal to empty his bulging pockets before playing a scene.
That's what convinced me, if I'd needed any more convincing than The Room itself, that every word Sestero typed was exactly what had happened. That is exactly what happens when a complete lunatic in possession of a whole lot of money hires a bunch of actual Hollywood professionals to realize their dream.
