Man, yeah, I didn't know about that tendency to have shifting be something only men can do, and I dislike that on principle! I'd want to be able to do that stuff, and would dislike reading a world in which women can't or only rarely can.


Also, how disappointing that this book was satisfying and then the next one isn't.
