By the time it ended, I was only watching it casually, so that may affect how the end felt to me. But who knows! We all like different things. :-)

St. Elsewhere was the show that inspired me to learn how to use a VCR to schedule recordings. I was really invested in it, and had not yet encountered the "jump the shark" phenomenon. But it really did jump the shark in the last season, and it made me very sad.
