Wow, now I'm angry about the book, and I haven't even read it! It doesn't make any sense AND it sounds incredibly mean-spirited, with everyone heaping coals of fire on the protagonist's head for nothing worse than being a kid who is struggling to bring up a toddler who has suddenly been thrust into her arms.
