It's not published in English, but if there's a table selling Japanese imports I'd highly recommend Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, "Record of a Yokohama Shopping Trip" which is a gentle end of the world manga. Rather slow-moving but very lovely.

It seems unlikely to ever make it to the U.S. but once upon a time I would have thought that of Fuyumi Ono's Twelve Kingdoms novels and they're on their way, so anything could happen.
