Seconding Gals, which is one of the best high school manga no one reads; also MeruPuri, Cantarella, Angel Sanctuary and Godchild; Hunter X Hunter is one of my favorites and the source of my default icon, but if the library has it you may as well try it there first. In addition Lone Wolf and Cub is the Best Samurai Manga Ever and the person who mentioned how much the discount would add up is absolutely right.
