telophase was doing art while the rest of you were at Wiscon; page down her LJ to see everything. I am particularly struck by this gorgeous pencil drawing..

And it's not even tinted slightly pink in real life! I have yet to be able to adjust the color to the correct warm grey that the paper is.

Send kind thoughts to the weather out here this afternoon - I need to buy mat board after work, and it's too big to fit into plastic, so I REALLY NEED it not to be raining as I put it in the car and then remove it when I get home.

Although I hesitate to utter such words anywhere near thoughts of your gorgeous drawing, have you thought of the big huge outdoors plastic trash bags? The lawn-and-leaf kind? If necessary, you can even splice a couple of them together with (of course) duct tape.

Just to get the pic to and from the auto, of course.

I get off work at 5. The art supply store closes at 6.* The closest grocery store is a 20-minute drive away. There is rush-hour traffic between me and said grocery store and said art-supply store. It's more a matter of logistics than anything else.

* and the craft store is out of mat board, hence why I didn't get it yesterday. :D

Ahhh, shazzbat! I'm sorry ... if I'm going to mess in your business, I've got to do a better job of keeping up with your itinerary (and you did post your punchlist, too, but I skipped that one when I was confronted with 4 screens' worth of friendlist posts ... I wanted to see the pretty pictures instead ...).

No worries - it's a good idea (and I can do that after I get home and need to get it from the car to the apartment); it's just that first trip that's a doozy...
