I have the cutest baby in the universe, who stuffs her fists in her mouth, and loves to do the baby dance, and is starting to get strong enough to "stand".

My dad is feeling well enough to make travel plans for Christmas.

And people are saying interesting things at the Tor.com re-read of _LotR_, and I finished a good draft of a work thing with SteelyKid on my lap, and I got a tricky Christmas present out of the way today.
