I'm melting, I'm melting!
Just checked the weather to see if it's really an oven in here, or if I'm just being a wimp. Los Angeles just broke its record for heat - 113 degrees fondly Fahrenheit!
Apparently the heat fried the collective brain of the Associated Press, as it writes, "It's a departure welcomed by many after an unusually cool and foggy summer."
Not by me! I'm taking my toys and going somewhere air-conditioned. (Sadly not my apartment.) I bet my cats are happy I've been Furminating them to remove their winter coats.

Good lord. No one anywhere "welcomes" 113 degrees. No one.

Go find a/c and drink lots of liquids. In a relaxing way. Where there is a/c.

HA HA. HA. What.
I keep hearing people that that it's been a 'cool summer', and I keep wondering what those people are smoking. It certainly hasn't been a cool summer from where I'm standing.

I was in Scottsdale once in July (on purpose, even) and it was that hot, and I pretty much refused to go outside in the daytime. I imagine it's even worse in LA where it's more humid.

But it's only been like... 90s. 113 just sounds like ooooog.
