Apropos of very little, have you read Jon Skovron's MISFIT? It's probably my favorite read of the year - though very different than A.S. King. It has mixed reviews online but it hits almost every single storytelling kink that I have and I am madly in love with it.
Technically I think it came out in 2011, but I'm slow on the uptake sometimes.
(Also, Jon is awesome, which is always an added bonus.)
