The long-awaited limited-edition manga Project Blue Rose, formerly known as "Gay Mutant Black Ops," is finally shipping. I wrote it and
telophase drew it.
It's a 64-page black-and-white manga, an action/adventure/sf/romance between two secret agents. You get 56 pages of manga (including a 5-page R-rated hot sex scene), a pin-up, and two essays on the making of PBR, one by myself and one by
telophase, and a bookplate signed by both of us. We'd sign the books themselves, but we live across the country from each other and it's too expensive to ship them.
Click here if you've never heard of it before, and/or would like to see a pretty picture of shirtless men with guns.
Click here if you already ordered it and want to make sure you're on the list of people we're sending it to, or if your address has changed since then.
Click here for ordering information, if you didn't order it but would like to.
One final note. There was a problem with one of the tones in the first printing. This doesn't affect a lot of panels or the most important (ie, sexy pin-up) ones, but a few panels had a tone come out in visible dots when it should have been gray shading. If you get one of the affected copies and this bugs you, let us know and we'll ship you a copy of the next printing at cost when we do the next printing. Sorry! Perhaps those copies will become special collector's items.
