Black Knight, by Kai Tsurugi

Another Blu manga, again with a tall dark forceful seme and teeny blonde girly uke. I am beginning to wonder if that romantic configuration is a contractual obligation for all yaoi mangaka.

The girly little prince of some vaguely European country is sent to military school to toughen up. He immediately meets a manly tall senior student, who takes him under his wing and makes mad passionate love ti him. (Not rape, for once. Whew.) And then intrigues ensue! There are assassinations! Swordplay! Dashes through the forest! The king is poisoned! Etc! (Plus, there is a bonus story about a hot writer and a hot priest, no really.)

It's all quite entertaining and sweet, and the art is very pretty, although sometimes the characters have the proportions of Daddy Long Legs. Plus, like I said, no rape, though there's a little bit of "Oh no no no I mean yes, oh yeah, do it again!"

There is also my single favorite moment in the entire thing, when someone is introduced with a string of names-- "Christopher Stephen Robert Etc"-- ending in ClanMacNoise. (Now someone will tell me that is an actual Scottish surname.)
