1. I will be in New York City from this Thursday to next Thursday. I will have some free time, so if you want to meet up, let me know.

2. I need another Japanese name, this time for a species of mushi (ie, not a real human name.) It should translate as "Bridge of Thought," or "Mind-Bridge," or something like that. I am still at a net cafe which doesn't display Japanese characters, so please also spell it out in romaji. Thanks!

3. Laptop still in shop. Dammit. I am feeling so creative, too, but am forced to compose in unnatural places like notebooks and gmail.

Whee! It's Yuletide!

I can't believe it's yuletide time again! I had so much fun last year, and I'm really happy with the stories I wrote. I can't wait!

I can only nominate six fandoms for inclusion. Is anyone else planning to nominate Mushishi or Spooks/MI-5? I want to make sure they're on the list, but I also have more obscure fandoms I'd like to see on there.

Also, you know, I would not be offended or go berserk if anyone were to nominate Project Blue Rose. Just sayin'.

I'm also thinking of nominating The Mahabharata, The Tale of Genji, Onmyouji (movie version), Ann Maxwell's "Fire Dancer" series, and a couple others To Be Named Later. What are you all thinking of?
