Recent goings-on at Chez Rachel too horrifying and nightmarish even to describe. Let's just say that dead laptop + urgent deadlines + run of bad luck related to above two and sufficient to convince me of the existence of Satan = very unhappy Rachel.
I will list recent positive events to cheer myself up:
1. My first package I shipped to myself from Japan arrived! That means I now have the Harajuku outfit. Planning to wear it to Henson Halloween party and watch men walk into walls. (Since they will break with recent tradition (created by current boss) and provide alcohol (since current boss will be out of town) this should not be difficult.)
2. Finally got around to reading an LJ Smith book, the one with psychic kids in a school for psychic kids. Why did no one mention that plot to me before? Um. It was awesome.
3. The moths appear to be mostly vanquished.
4. I have dim sum in the refrigerator for dinner, thanks to Halle's birthday party this morning. That was fun!
