The Syfy (I feel stupid just typing that) channel is marathoning V - The Original TV Miniseries
, the 80s miniseries I was obsessed with in high school. Aliens invade Earth; humans fight back; the chief villain AND the chief rebel are women (bet you dollars to donuts the chief rebel's a man and the chief villain is scantily clad in the upcoming remake); Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) plays a nice guy; and there's a pregnancy plot which I actually liked.
