Oh, I'm sure her recipes are excellent. It's my own personal issue that I have a sense of what things are supposed to taste like that anything I make myself is never going to measure up to, because I haven't been making it for 50 years with local ingredients. With other cuisines I'm just going on "does it taste good," not "does it taste just like I remember."
