The poll appears to have gone weird, so here are the comments I would have left along with my tickied boxes:

I have heard of Gift from the Sea pretty much strictly by title and its fame as inspirational literature; I would be curious to know if it's actually any good.

I adore The Idylls of the Queen; it's one of my favorite pieces of Arthuriana. Based on your description, I would at least give River of Darkness a shot if I ran across a copy myself, so I'd like to know if I should. I have not read The Woman in White, but I loved The Moonstone. The Monk is bonkers.

Charlotte Sometimes on grounds of Penelope Farmer, also I remember liking it. Girl on a Wire on grounds of I like Gwenda Bond, even though I haven't read this book

I've never heard of A Wind from the South! I've heard good things about A Face Like Glass.

Watch the Wall, My Darling is presumably named after this Kipling poem, so I want to know if it has smuggling. Wet Grave was not my favorite of the initial run of Benjamin January, but I still like it, it introduces a character I really like, and it packs a surprising amount of batshit Gothic into an otherwise generally realist universe.
