I've been working nonstop on the release of Defender Raptor and other writing-related business since waking up. It's 1:30, I haven't showered or dressed, and I'm nowhere near done. Taking a break to shower and vote in the primary, then back to work.

I thought some of you might be interested to know exactly what sort of work that might entail. If you don't, don't click. This is just what I've done today - it doesn't count everything I've done yesterday, etc - so it's a snapshot rather than a complete picture.

Wrote cheery text for email blast to mailing group announcing new release.

Confirmed who in the Zoe group is doing the email blast and who's reminding the ARC readers to post their reviews.

Consulted with Layla over a Zoe writer's cover image and manuscript.

Emailed that writer to approve her cover and correct some formatting issues.

Made note to send her a detailed explanation of some Zoe procedures later today.

Posted the official announcement of Defender Raptor to two Zoe Chant Facebook groups, the public one and the much-more-active private fan group.

Replied to Facebook comments on the book.

Discovered an error in Defender Raptor, hurriedly corrected to re-upload a corrected copy.

Updated backmatter in Defender Cave Bear to include Defender Raptor for re-upload.

Made note to update backmatter in the other NINE books in the series (including two collections) and re-upload those.

Made note to update backmatter in my other Zoe books at my leisure.

Made note to announce the Countdown Deal currently running on Defender Cave Bear to FB groups tomorrow.

Emailed KDP to link the series books so they'll appear on Amazon as a series.

Made note to check on the status of the paper book.

I think there's more that I've forgotten.
