Yeah, I mean, I have done intentionally rehearsing while awake how I wanted my dreams to go (I just didn't do it for the purpose of getting rid of nightmares, because I didn't have them often enough to be much bothered, but in hope of directing my dreams to things that would be pleasant or inspiring or not annoying) and that did work somewhat, at least inasmuch as I could remember on waking.
