XD I mean true but there were plenty of weird Woo things that occupied
the same place as crystal healing all the way back past the beginning of
the century; just looking more at spiritualism and so on, rather than
"crystal vibrations". The specific outfits changed, but the core tendency
was very solid.
Mostly: Educating Children Properly (with ~* good literature*~ with ~*
great literary merit and value*~) was supposed to make it so that they
would be safe from any of that kind of influence and would be Clear Eyed
and blah blah blah fishcakes.
