That would actually be a really interesting subject for a book, if instead of "society is perfect as is and rebelling against seemingly arbitrary rules ruins everything", it was "teenagers in dystopian society who realise that their society is bad and rebel against it, realise through experience that some of the arbitrary rules are the result of much older attempts at fixing the dystopia, and dismantling those rules makes things worse; and learn both to contextualise their struggle in a long history of revolutionary struggle and to find common cause with other liberation movements and allies (including adults!) already engaging in that struggle." But this is clearly not that book.
