My physical therapist has informed me that my best bet for surviving the approximately eleven hour flight from Los Angeles to London is to get up every hour, walk up and down the aisles, and do a little exercise with a tennis ball (no, not throwing it).
The problem: It is an overnight flight which leaves at 9:30 PM. I don't think I've stayed up all night since I suffered from terrible insomnia in high school. I am bringing books, of course, but there's a point of exhaustion at which I am not capable of following even someone like Janet Evanovich.
If anyone has any suggestions for making this less horrible, suggest away. So far all I've come up with is to request an aisle seat, bring non-taxing reading, and drink lots of coffee.
