T's laptop fried and was BSOD-ing BEFORE it booted up, and we were in despair, BUT my flist put together the money to fix it in something like six hours which I still can't believe happened, and T is happier than he's been in a while (it was dying slowly for a least a couple of weeks).
Plus I appear to have turned pameladean on to E.M. Forster's The Longest Journey, and sovay may read Howards End.
