1. The internet is out at my house, so I only have net access at a cafe. This may be going on for a while; be aware that I might not get back to you as quickly as normal, or comment as much.

2. Where is the link to import my LJ to Dreamwidth? Is this still buggy? Should I wait?

3. I am trying not to have overlapping reading lists. If you are switching completely to Dreamwidth, posting different content there, or only enabling content there, please comment to let me know.

4. I am not defriending anyone. I just want to set up reading filters for myself so I'm not seeing people's posts twice.

I am posting only about my original vampire novel writing at DW. There will be no crossposting (foreseen at this time). Erm, sorry, I might occasionally crosspost here at LJ for people interested in vampire fic who aren't at DW (and comments will be enabled both places). But LJ content will not be crossposted to DW.

I am the one person in the world who's not xposting to LJ and DW....I'm going to post my fic to DW and probably delete it from my LJ, but I don't plan on posting personal stuff at DW, it's going to be maybe fannish and def new content. I plan to keep posting personal stuff at LJ. I cynically foresee this will probably lead to people filtering me out at both places.

I'm crossposting pretty much everything to DW except for things like birthday greetings and some very few items that are lj-related, and mostly doing the 'comment there' feature.
And am currently filtering my lj reading list (rather than removing people altogether) if people are now posting the same content on DW.

I'm posting fannish/personal/political content on dw, and professional content in the lj blog. And I'm really grateful for the default view filter over here on lj -- it's made me life a billion times better. :)

Importing seems to be working for almost everyone now -- they fixes most of the bugs, so all that's left is some occasional errors with embedded video not importing, IIRC.
