Something to tell my grandchildren or just random children some day

telophase informs me that there will be a total lunar eclipse visible in Japan on the evening of August 28.

That day we just happen to be on top of a mountain... in a very quiet town mostly inhabited by Buddhist monks... which has no nightlife whatsoever, and hence little light-spill... in a Buddhist temple which probably has a very beautiful garden... in the lovely and atmospheric Koya-san.
