Partner is finished, polished, proofread, and DONE. It has been turned in for formatting, and will be published once that's complete.

Prisoner is currently free at all e-book vendors. Hopefully that will lure in some readers.

If you enjoyed the banter and hurt-comfort in Prisoner, there's lots more in Partner.

I have to finish my Courtney Milan binge first, which you started with your review of Trade Me

Oh, you've got lots to read, then! I hope you'll report on them. Unveiled has a really nice portrayal of PTSD - actually, I love the way she writes about mental illnesses and disabilities in general.

(Better than in Trade Me, I thought. I think it's really hard to depict therapy as healing without the book being about the process of therapy, so if therapy is a possibility, it tends to happen off-page and then the healing drops out of the story. It's a big advantage to write about historical times and other situations where therapy isn't an option, because then you can see people grappling with their issues on-page without the help of a character who otherwise isn't involved in the story at all.)

I've been reading the Brother's Sinister, and there has been a character with some form of mental illness in every book so far. She's really impressive. I also like that her heroines are smart and motivated, not to mention actively engaged participants in their sexual choices.
