Rebel_Brown_Smith_Final

Welcome back to Las Anclas, a frontier town in the post-apocalyptic Wild West. In this perilous landscape, a schoolboy can create earthquakes, poisonous cloud vipers flock in the desert skies, and the beaches are stalked by giant mind-controlling lobsters.

The tyrant king Voske has been defeated, but all is not peaceful in Las Anclas. Ross's past comes back to haunt him, Jennie struggles with her new career, Mia faces her fears, Felicite resorts to desperate measures to keep her secrets, Kerry wonders if Las Anclas has really seen the last of her father, and shy Becky Callahan may hold the key to a dangerous mystery.

In Rebel, long-held secrets of past and present are revealed, family ties can strangle as well as sustain, and the greatest peril threatening Las Anclas comes from inside its walls.

On Goodreads.

I will answer questions if anyone has any, but reserve the right to say, "That's spoilery."

Hurray! Glad to see the whole trilogy out! And having stuff about Ross's past sounds excellent (I say this still only having read the first book, so maybe some stuff comes out in the second...)

Nice! I love the cover and can't wait for the book to come out, I loved the first two.

That's a really great cover. But now I'm behind! I haven't read Hostage! Aieee. Oh, well, curling up with several at once will be very pleasant.

Yeah, I also really want to know what happens with Felicité! She's not my favorite character, that's Jenny, but she's the most compelling.

Awesome! I love the green of the cover and I've been really liking the 'dark figure on colourful background' theme the series has had so far. One small thing about the cover: the pipe between "Change" and "Book" is confusing, because it looks exactly like the I in the III.

I've read only Stranger so far; more of Ross's past and more of Becky sound great! More of everything, including the lovely balance of parts and players. :)

More Ross, yes! :D

That is the most beautiful cover of the three books. I love the graceful martial arts pose and the elegant vines/trellis. All of the covers are amazing. :)

Yay, Becky! :D

Hmm. I don't like Felicite, but I wonder if she'll gain courage and become a more compassionate/less horrible person.

Mia is wonderful. <3 Can't wait to read more on her! :D

I finally read Hostage, which I liked very much, so I am eagerly looking forward to this!
