I have so many never-read books that I think of them in sometimes overlapping categories, ranked in order of when I have to read them. Sort of.
1. Books by favorite authors that I'm dying to read.
2. Library books.
3. Books I need to review.
4. Books I borrowed from friends.
5. Books I bought recently that look interesting.
6. Books I'm saving for some special occasion/plane trip/leisurely vacation/when I really need to read something that I know for sure I'll enjoy/etc.
7. Books I bought years ago that have been sitting on my shelf forever.
It's the last set that I need help with. (I'm not even counting books that are primarily for research or reference.) I will present you with a list of books that I can see from where I sit, which is, horrifyingly, about a tenth of the total. Most of them have been sitting untouched on my shelves for years. Your job is to tell me if any of them a) are wonderful and I'll love them and should get to them sooner, b) really suck, c) are something that for some reason you'd be really curious to read my opinion on, so I should move them up the que and report on them here.
