"The raw, untamable power of chaos. Rosewood, amber, red musk and a dribble of red sandalwood. (Traditionally masculine)"

Really, traditionally masculine? Because in the vial, it smells exactly like Chanel # 5.

Wet: Still smells like Chanel # 5. Same on [livejournal.com profile] canandagirl. (I felt as if I was enacting some primitive ritual when we were sniffing each other's wrists.)

Dry: Took forever to dry, because it's frigging boiling in here, plus I was doing kata in the garage, so I was drenched in sweat and was for most of the day. However, now only slightly sticky, I can still smell it on my wrist over seven hours later. It smells... nice... warm... I can sort of pick out the sandalwood, but find the rest of the notes hard to identify because I have no idea what amber, say, smells like. Does amber in perfume literally mean amber? I had no idea amber had a smell.

I couldn't try it on the cats because they were hiding from [livejournal.com profile] canandagirl

I emailed [livejournal.com profile] coffee_and_ink recently, and wrote, "Burial and Wrath, plus whatever strange potions Yoon sends me, will accompany me to NYC.

That sentence didn't sound so much like the cover copy for a Kaori Yuki manga when I first thought it."

[livejournal.com profile] coffee_and_ink replied that it sounded more like an FMA doujinshi.

Now I'm trying to figure out what genre would also include Crossroads, Fenris Wolf, and Scarecrow. An FMA/Batman Begins crossover with elements of Norse mythology? Sounds like something [livejournal.com profile] mistressrenet would write. Or possibly [livejournal.com profile] rushthatspeaks. Actually, I could continue naming people I know who might plausibly write such a thing, and I want you all to know that I find that very scary.
