Enormous spoilers below.
Oh, Tom.
I know I wrote in the last post that I thought that Tom was coming to the end of his useful life as an agent, but I didn't think he'd crash and burn for good in the very next episode.
Since I expected him to die, I am relieved that he didn't, but his final parting was so sad. He'll never see any of his friends or co-workers again, he'll have to start his entire life over from scratch, he never even found out whether his gesture had any effect (and it didn't, in my opinion: the professor's life was ruined the moment he agreed to Harry's scheme.) I can't imagine him being especially happy out in the world, wondering what's going on without him and whether, every time there's a terrorist attack in London, if he could have stopped it. On the other hand...

Farewell, O Worst Spy Ever. I'll miss you.
