At the Jim Henson Company for a benefit for a local Shakespeare company. They did the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet on the soundstage, with Juliet on a very industrial-looking balcony, and a small child remarked loudly, "Will she be stuck up there forever?"

Deborah Lippman's "Birthday" nail polish. It reflects on to the page, so I seem to be casting little rainbow light spells with my fingertips.

Hiking at twilight, a hill in the middle of the city; it was night by the time I reached the top. It's a popular location, as you can see:

Sparkly! And for just one happy moment there, I thought you were going to write that the dinosaur was in some way involved in the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Maybe with Romeo climbing its neck to reach Juliet, or maybe the dinosaur is Juliet or Romeo.

I would not put it past that company. They also did a bit from Two Gentlemen of Verona in which Crab the dog was played by a purple hand puppet.

Sounds and looks like a lot of awesome things!

(There was one season of Jim Henson's Creature Shop, a competition on Syfy, but it was good and super interesting to see how they would make large-scale puppets and animatronics.)

I used to work at Henson. The dinosaur is right outside the Creature Shop, and the soundstage is where they do greenscreen.
