I loaned Sholio Jhereg, she fell for the series, and I re-read them and then read all the new-to-me ones, as I'd drifted off from the series after Jhegaala. WOW did it pick up again! So glad I caught up.

She has spoilery thoughts on Iorich, Hawk, and Vallista here.

Comments here may have massive spoilers for anything in the series.

I got [personal profile] myrialux into the Jhereg series by explaining that most of them were written in first-person smartass, since he liked Locke Lamora. Because he tends to spend most of his leisure time doing things instead of reading, we ended up going through the entire series in audiobook as we commute together.

First-person smartass is such a good way to describe it!

Yay, Dragaera! :D

Jhegaala was kind of a low point in the series for me, which is probably a sign I should reread it, and will probably discover interesting things there that went over my head the first time. But Hawk was so much fun! And I really enjoy Iorich, too.

I didn't even realize Vallista was out! I think I read Iorich and Hawk but it might have been close to post-partum because I remember absolutely nothing about it! Right, brb while I request Vallista from the library (can't buy it yet because D is collecting them in paperback) and reread everything after Issola...
