I'm jealous.

Also, I lugged all my potted plants upstairs and under a roof because they got flattened in a rainstorm the other day and a neighbor told me the forecast said there'd be another today. Today the sun is shining very aggressively and mocking me and my labor and my sad sun-deprived plants.

I just decided to do this because of your post two days ago, and now I have written a thing that I will polish and submit later this evening! Possibly the first fanfic that I've written in just under 20 years, depending upon how you define things.

Gloating because, for the first time ever, I have TWO gifts! And both posted well before default, unlike the past few years when I've seen my requests fly by as pinch hits. (Though I always got really lovely gifts anyway!)

The Yuletide treat I'm working on is still looking like a dubious proposition. Too ambitious. Maybe I'll get the other one done, though.

(It doesn't actually snow here; it's been raining off and on, which I like, but snow would be better.)

Being glad that it stopped snowing! I don't anticipate being deprived of snow for the next few months, so a break is nice.

It's a really good film, so much characterisation in small actions, so much good acting. So many good lines.

Rather than repeat last year's holiday misery with my father and stepmother, my brother and I absconded to Japan. We spent Christmas Eve at the Pokémon Center, among many other places in Tokyo. Happy Yuletide!
