Yesterday I went berserk in a nursery and purchased...
A ginkgo
A scarlet oak
A Bartlett pear
A stand of four birches
Also a Satsuma plum tree which I need to either return, exchange, or buy another of; post-purchase, I discovered that it won't fruit unless I have second Satsuma plum.
I also bought two raspberry bushes (currently fruiting!) and a blueberry bush. Also a bunch of bulbs.
And at that point I forcibly hurled myself out of the shop.

Unhelpfully, I favor re-crossing the shop's event horizon and buying yourself another plum tree.

Also, please tell me that you're going to get into hobbyist tree grafting so you can make yourself a Tree Of Forty Fruits. (I'm given to understand that tree grafting is more approachable than one might expect, for the home gardener...)

(I'm still salty that Hurricane Ida killed our backyard crabapple/cherry/pear/peach/plum/??? before it got a chance to fruit this winter.)

"Plum tree" was one of my nicknames in high school, because I was adamant about being asexual and aromantic. I guess only some kinds of plum trees?

Get a second Pear too- you will want the genetic diversity, otherwise, the one you have may end up crossing with any potential Bradford reverted to Callery Pears in the vicinity.
As far as the Gingko, I believe the females fruit? But you need a male Gingko for that, so better get a second one of those too.
And Oaks always look great singly, but spectacular in pairs.
I know, I'm an enabler.
Also- what bulbs did you get? Huh? Huh?
