Taking Laura Kinsale's Uncertain Magic, C. J. Cherryh's Downbelow Station, and a Mary Stewart set somewhere in Arabia. And a box of strawberry Pocky. That should cover all bases.

I think the Mary Stewart, like one of Kinsale's novels, is about Hester Stanhope.

Do you LOVE Laura Kinsale? How many have you read, and if you have, which is your favorite? She has a great message board that you should check out.

If you can't tell, I am a HUGE fan of hers, and suggest to everyone to read her books, especially the Shadow and the Star and Flowers from the Storm.

Hope jury duty wasn't too bad.

I just wrote up that one, but have several other Kinsale reviews in memories under "romance." My favorites so far are Shadowheart and Seize the Fire.
