There is a meme going around where if you post to some thread somewhere, other people will tell you what anime or manga character you remind them of. Unfortunately, it has now gotten so long that my computer has a fit if I try to go there. So...

1. Post here and tell me what anime or manga (or literary or TV, whatever) character I resemble!

(I am assuming this is all about the personality, not looks (or gender, humanity, etc) or it would be tough. I recently learned, for instance, that Heero "I will now self-destruct" Yuy's hair is not, as it appears onscreen, dark brown, but is officially "moss green.")

2. Upon request, I will do the same for you! (But please don't request unless I actually do know you fairly well, or else I will be stumped.)

Do me?

Rachel: you are stable and sane despite having spent a great deal of time around people who are completely barking mad; you are intelligent but still compassionate, and drop an occasional word of extremely good advice; and you look good in a corset.

You are Karen from X/1999.

You can be very down-to-earth, but there's something a bit otherworldly about you, too, a fascinating mystery; out of everyone I know, you're the person who I'd most like to be for a while, just to experience what it's like to be you. You have an affinity for the profound questions about love and death and what it all means. You have a rich and unusual interior life. Also, you're smart and kind and a good friend.

Okay, I swear I'm not saying this just to please you-- look at the description above and see how well it fits-- You are Kaworu from Neon Genesis Evangelion!

eee that is one of the nicest things anybody has said to me ever eeee!

Thanks! That's really sweet! I have angst on occasion, which is foreign to his system, but it's quite a compliment.
