For some unknown reason, my computer is refusing to let me into gmail: neither typing the url in directly, nor clicking from the google homepage, nor using my saved link will do anything but get me a completely blank page.

Please email me via hotmail until I report this problem solved. Thanks!

ETA: Fixed! See comments.

I want this like you wouldn't believe, but it's just as well that I nerfed my eBay account (I think I forgot the password, or something along those lines). I will settle for staring at the adorable cover.

I could swear I own that one. Shall I bring it down to LA on my next trip to loan to you? We could arrange for Rachel to play courier.

Coolness! I'll bring that one down next time I'm in town (should be late February/early March is my guess). I'm supposed to be down for an ALA exec meeting or something, if we can ever pin down the dates.

Oh cool! Please bring the 25ANS ones too; I'd like to stare at them again and I'm sure Yoon would too. And the one (was that also 25ANS?) where Duo and Quatre go visit Heero when he's recuperating at the circus.

And we can hang out! Maybe I will have seen some SEED by then!

Absolutely, and yes it was.

^_^ See, I was down at New Year's and had the whole series on DVD with me. Along with Nadesico, because I've been meaning to rewatch it, and the first two discs (first story arc) of Full Metal Panic.

Sadly, I'm a flake and failed to get hold of you. So instead Michael and I played World of Warcraft for three days straight while Amanda failed to kick both of us in the head. We distracted her with a marathon of first season Heroes, which none of us had seen all the way through. And bribed her with chocolate. I think the choco was key.

--hmm. What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser? (I keep multiple browsers on all my machines for this purpose. Well--I think the PowerBook 1400cs doesn't, but it doesn't have internet capability at present anyway.) Have you tried clearing the cache?

I'm sure other, more knowledgeable people will have other troubleshooting suggestions for you.

Have you tried the secure server for Gmail? Use https:// instead of http:// when you type the URL in. That solved a problem for me once. :)

Hey! That worked! Thanks! Though it did darkly warn me that it was an insecure site and I shouldn't continue to go there.

Still could be a cache issue - you just gave it a different address, so it didn't access its bad cache of the original address ... .

That sounds backwards. The "s" in https is supposed to mean something like "secure".

You've tried the all-purpose solution of clearing your cache (i.e., deleting all your temporary files)?
