I just wrote a really long entry which got eaten. In short:

I found an injured bird and dropped it off at an emergency center last night. This morning I called 911 for a road rage incident and got a recording until I gave up.

This was all more interesting the first time I posted it.

Aww man. I like reading your anecdotes--they make me think more about how I fit into a community. When I get out of the house at all, anyway. *wry look* I don't suppose you could talk about the road rage incident? This learning-to-drive thing is making such things fascinating (in a morbid way, I guess).

I've had LJ glitches before, and now religiously compose entries in a text editor. This doesn't help when the text editor or my OS has issues, but it's another line of defense. (May not be feasible depending on where you're posting from, though.)

I also compose in a text editor. I edit better in a 30-line window with full margins than a 10-line text box. Also, better spellchecking. And I get to think about it.
