Oooh! Misiamanners answered my etiquette question:

In her other incarnation as plain Misia, she's writing a history of concepts of virginity, as written by a sharp-tongued, cynical, funny feminist scholar. Poke through recent posts in her journal for questions, outtakes, and generally everything you ever wanted to know about virginity, but were afraid to ask.

An old review of an astonishing and not-yet-officially-released anime, Full Metal Alchemist which I'm watching slowly for two reasons: my discs only play on my computer and for various physical reasons, I find watching moving images on it uncomfortable except in small doses, and the show is so amazing and complex and dense that I've been watching each episode more than once before moving on. It's... um... imagine John M. Ford writing an anime about alchemy. Only it's not at all hard to follow.

I'm waiting for her to answer mine. She is My Hero. On the list with you, mind you. ;)

I'm fascinated by your comparison, because I have never liked John M. Ford...

2. Sakura (cherry tree/blossom). It's a room I stayed at in a beautiful and astoundingly inexpensive Kyoto bed-and-breakfast called Crossroads. The other rooms are Momo (peach) and Fuji (wisteria).
