What are your favorite manga, manhwa, manhua, and other Asian comics that a) have not yet been licensed in English, b) were created within the last ten years or so?

Other than Yokohama KK mumble, which is delightful and which I am already reading, and Yoshinaga Fumi's Ooku, which I already know about... and would really appreciate scanlation links for, if scanlations exist. If not, maybe I should bid on scanlating services from [livejournal.com profile] livelongnmarry.

If you describe why I ought to read them, and provide or email scanlation links if they exist, I may read and review them here. Also, I am in a position to occasionally suggest licenses. Just sayin'.

I've always sort of assumed all the manga-ka in Asia are part of a vast conspiracy; whenever one of them starts publishing a manga which would be remotely appealing to [livejournal.com profile] octopedingenue, they e-mail sample jpegs to her so that she will writhe in frustration over all the amazing comics she can't read. It would explain both how she remains so current with not only unlicensed, but also unscanslated manga, despite not living in Japan or as far as I know, being able to read Japanese, and also her abiding and energetic frustration with regards to the untranslated awesomeness.

My theory is that she has a computer chip in her brain that gives her access to all the comics in Asia as they are printed, and that's how she stays so up-to-date.
