Whatever you got, I sincerely hope it wasn't one of the Harlequin Presents books. Those things are god-awful.

I would totally read Ruthless Angel, Pregnant Mermaid, though, if only out curiosity for how it would work. You know, anatomically. *ponders*

Under a different title, it's the epilogue to Joey Hill's utterly insane yet strangely emotionally plausible A Witch's Beauty.

I have, or have had, the four ST books, so I know you're telling the truth about them. The Harlequins seem less probable. Are you sure these aren't Merlin AU fan stories? Maybe SGA? I've never had so much fun (well, very seldom) as when SGA fanfic went Harlequin for a giddy winter.

Hey, I remember Spock Must Die! and Dwellers in the Crucible! Fun times.

Wait, so you're telling me that Killing Time has /less/ slashiness than it did before it was re-written?

...Wow.

Clearly I need to send you yet more crack. What are you in the mood for? (Also, gentle reminder re: bookpile I sent last...Septemberish? eh.)

Eek! Sorry, I sometimes take forever to get to things. (And sometimes pounce immediately.)

What I am in the mood for: utter crack.

What I could do without: Harlequins!
