I was searching for the novel Mrityunjaya, and found that for $1500, I could get this: Thehoma and japas will be done by learned garhwali pandits and the puja will continue for around 45 days and the cost includes puja charges, food for brahmins, food for cow, havan samagri,clothes for brahmins etc.

Hmm, thanks. I need it in English, though. I found a not-insanely-expensive copy from India, but I've had such bad luck with shipping from there that I'm leery of ordering it. In the US, the cheapest edition is $78... hello inter-library loan.
